Well…I just got home from the vet…

And I did great! That’s right, I’m a totally healthy, happy puppy. I weigh 9 pounds, 4 ounces—okay, I might need to go on a bit of a diet—but other than that I am the epitome of corgi perfection. I didn’t like going to the vet all that much, but everyone there was really nice, gave me plenty of attention, and sent me home with some treats. (The ones they gave me during my visit were kind of gross, as you can tell by the pieces I left behind…)

Daddy says I’m becoming quite an expensive Christmas gift for Mom, but at least we know for sure that I am healthy and that the rawhide didn’t hurt me!

Oh dog. Today is the day. After putting it off for a week, Mom and Dad officially say it’s time to get neutered. I didn’t get to eat dinner yesterday or breakfast this morning—thanks a lot, vet—and now I’m going into surgery?! What is going on here???

Oh, and I hear I have something called the “cone of shame” to look forward to. As if cutting off my balls wasn’t enough…
